Calling all Revolutionaries!

CRPHX 2011/12 Season at Lost Leaf

We are delighted to share with you that CRPHX’s partnership with The Lost Leaf will return this season, and this is your opportunity to shine!

If you would like to be considered for one of the 9 spots on the CRPHX 2011/12 Season at The Lost Leaf, we invite you to submit yourself or your performing group for consideration.  The last Sunday of each month from September to May, CRPHX will present a different artist to showcase the variety of local chamber music talent here in the Valley!  Compensation is based on a revenue-sharing model that CRPHX has established with The Lost Leaf, and thus varies according to attendance.  The gig goes from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. More details will be provided should your group be selected.

If selected, you must:

-Fully commit to performance date and time by signing a basic contract
-Prepare an engaging program consisting of two 45-minute sets that is in keeping with CRPHX’s mission
-Be willing to promote the show to your own network/fanbase

In order to be considered, please submit the following materials to classicalrevolutionphx@gmail.com by August 15, 2011:

-Name of artist/group
-Artist/group photo
-List of personnel with brief bios
-If a group, provide brief history
-Two brief musical samples (no more than one minute each if via attached mp3s) or link to YouTube or other online video or audio site
-Outline of proposed program/repertoire (does not have to be finalized, but please give us an idea of your program theme and sample repertoire)
-Tell us (in 250 words or less) how your proposed program furthers CRPHX’s mission to “make music accessible to the public, invigorate audience interest, break traditional expectations of ‘classical’ music, demonstrate the connection between humanity and classical music and present concerts involving traditional and non-traditional approaches.”
